Wereta is run by professional managers and devoted employees with the required expertise and skills, not forgetting the entrepreneurial role played by the shareholders. The number of Wereta’s employees is increasing with the diversification and intensification of its business activities. Currently, Wereta employs about 162 employees in its various business units.
Wereta is a member of Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association (AACCSA) and Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices Processors-Exporters Association (EPOSPEA). Furthermore, Wereta purchases agricultural commodities for export at the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) through companies that have seats in the ECX.
